The CVB’s family reunion specialist will help attendees gain insight into the planning process and show how Alpharetta’s easy access, mild climate, exceptional facilities and world-class shopping, dining and entertainment make it the perfect location for fun-filled special events.
The workshop and lunch are complimentary and one lucky attendee will receive a digital camera, perfect for capturing those memories soon to be made. Attendees will also learn how to plan other types of gatherings, including reunions of schools, military units, corporate groups and professional organizations.

“With tons of activities, Alpharetta is the perfect location to host a variety of group events,” said Janet Rodgers, president and CEO of the Alpharetta CVB. “We plan two Family Reunion Workshops every year to help give event planners all the tools they need in order to plan a memorable and successful event.”
Once residents have all the information they need to organize a successful celebration, the Alpharetta CVB can help them execute their plan, the CVB said in its press release. Its complimentary services include assistance with group hotel accommodations, a guide to parks and area attractions, welcome bags with visitor guides and maps, and assistance with catering, vendor and transportation needs.
