Alpharetta To Host Annual Fireworks Show at Wills Park
The festivities celebrating Independence Day will kick off at 6 p.m. at the park.

Celebrate Independence Day with family and friends at Wills Park, as the city of Alpharetta is set to host its annual fireworks extravaganza.

Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 4 at the park, which is located at 11925 Wills Road.
Kids will be able to enjoy inflatables, face painting, balloon animals and fun in the children’s area located by the Alpharetta Community Center from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with wristbands available for nominal fees. Red, white and blue glow sticks will also be sold.

Food vendors located throughout the park will serve festive fare until 10 p.m. Food available include classics like barbecue, hot dogs, and hamburgers as well as Mediterranean-style dishes, wood-fired pizza and tacos.
Old fashioned lemonade, Italian ice, snow balls and ice cream will also be available.
Starting at 6 p.m., the Alpharetta City Band will perform patriotic tunes starting and will be followed by a local band, Serious Business, playing classic rock and new country favorites.
If you’re planning to come to Wills Park for this year’s event, the city reminds you to take note of the following tips and rules:
- Accessible parking available near the Wacky World Playground. Old Milton Parkway between Highway 9 and Wills Road will close when parking lots are full.
- Alcohol and tobacco are prohibited in the park, per city ordinance.
- Pets must be on leashes or in a crate.
- Charcoal grills are strictly prohibited. Small propane grills are allowed with permit. To obtain a permit, call 678-297-6123.
- Food vendors and children’s entertainment will accept cash only.
- To ensure safety of the large crowd attending, the City discourages use of personal fireworks in the park during this event.
- Some activities may be delayed or canceled due to inclement weather, but the fireworks show is a rain or shine event.
