The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety will host a free child seat safety inspection event later this month.

The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 23 at Fire Station No. 1, which is located at 2970 Webb Bridge Road.
Along with child seat inspections, police officers assigned to the agency’s ACE Unit and Bicycle Unit will be on hand to speak about general crime prevention.
