Alpharetta To Host Free Composting Class
The class is set for Wednesday, Aug.19, and will provide residents with everything they need to know about making their own compost.

The city of Alpharetta and the Alpharetta Natural Resources Commission will host a free class about composting later this month.

The class will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19 at Alpharetta City Hall.
University of Georgia Cooperative Extension agents will conduct the class and give all the information you need to begin making your own compost. The material in this workshop will benefit home gardeners, community gardens, school gardeners and anyone who wants to learn more about this topic.
