Alpharetta To Host Free Sustainable Vegetable Gardening Class

The class will be held March 19 at Alpharetta City Hall.

Alpharetta residents can soon take advantage of a free class on sustainable vegetable gardening.

The city will host the hour-and-a-half class at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 19 at Alpharetta City Hall, which is located at 2 Park Plaza in downtown Alpharetta.

Seating is limited.

Class participants will learn how to plan their garden, start plants from seed, soil and water management, cultural practices and other tips for growing nutrient-dense vegetable.

The program is also perfect for parents who want to involve their children in vegetable gardening.
