Alpharetta Mayor Belle Isle To Give State Of The City Address

Mayor Bell Isle is also making a farewell speech as he throws his hat in the ring to be Georgia's next Secretary of State.

ALPHARETTA, GA — Alpharetta Mayor David Belle Isle is giving the State of the City address Tuesday, Feb. 13, alongside a farewell speech as he vacates his seat to run for Georgia's Secretary of State position. The event is being held at the Hotel at Avalon.

The Alpharetta Business Associated called it a "must attend event for businesses and residents" of the city. Limited seating at the event means advance paid reservations are required.

Mayor Belle Isle is running to replace current Secretary of State Brian Kemp, who is stepping out of office himself to make a run for Governor in 2018, according to the Marietta Daily Journal.

Registration for the event costs $30 for general admission and $300 for a table of 10. Register at the Alpharetta Business Association website.

The event begins at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, at the Hotel at Avalon located at 9000 Avalon Blvd. in Alpharetta.
