Alpharetta, Milton Elections: Sample Ballot, Candidates, Polling Locations

Alpharetta, Milton and north Fulton County residents who plan to cast their ballots on Tuesday can prepare in advance by taking a look on who and what issues will be on the Nov. 4 general election ballot.
The General Election Day is Tuesday, and residents are advised to plan accordingly for long lines and traffic around polling locations.

A composite sample ballot for Alpharetta, Milton and north Fulton voters can also be viewed on the Georgia Secretary of State’s My Voter Page.
Once polls close, the Georgia Secretary of State will update results as they come in. Find more on election results here. You should also be able to view view local election results on the Fulton County Elections and Voter Registration’s website.

At the local level, a small group Alpharetta residents will choose between incumbent Republican State Rep. Lynne Riley of Johns Creek and Democratic challenger Paul M. Troop of Alpharetta.
A small sector of Alpharetta and Milton residents will also vote in the Georgia Senate District 56 race, which includes incumbent Republican John Albers of Roswell and his Democratic opponent Akhtar Sadiq. A minute portion of Alpharetta residents will also vote in the House District 48 race, which puts incumbent Republican Harry Geisinger against Democratic challenger James “Jimmy” Johnson.
Additionally, voters in north Fulton will also head to the polls and decide to give incumbent Congressional District 6 Representative Tom Price of Roswell another two years in the U.S. House of Representatives or to give Democratic challenger Robert Montigel a shot at the job.
Finally, Fulton voters will decide if incumbent Democrat John Eaves will continue to serve as at-large Fulton County Commission District 7 representative or if they will give the job to Republican challenger Earl Cooper.
