15 Alpharetta, Milton Runners Registered for Boston Marathon

Christi Paine, who works at Big Peach Running Co. in Alpharetta, was registered as an entrant for the Boston Marathon, but personal reasons kept her from going – so she's safe.

Twelve runners from Alpharetta and three from Milton were registered as entrants in the Boston Marathon, where two explosions caused injuries and deaths at the finish line of the Boston Marathon.
With this afternoon's tragic news of numerous injuries following two explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, we want to take a moment to share that our thoughts and prayers at Patch are with the victims as well as these Lowcountry residents who were registered for today's race.
