Alpharetta, Milton Schools Hold Welcoming Events Week Before Classes

Fulton County schools will have back-to-school events to welcome families for the 2012-13 school year on Aug. 8, 9 or 10, though most appear to be on Aug. 9. Just four days later on Monday, Aug. 13, classes will begin for approximately 93,200 students in 101 schools throughout the county.

The school system's Communications department said parents should verify dates and times with their child’s school as information could change after the following list is published. Those who are registering new students should review the school system’s registration requirements for documents needed for admission.
