Alpharetta Offers Free First Aid Class

The one-day course will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21.

Knowing how to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until EMS arrives is critical. Would you know what to do to stop severe bleeding, treat a sprain, stabilize a broken bone, or recognize the signs of shock?

If not, you are invited to attend a free first aid class on Saturday, Feb. 21 at the Alpharetta Adult Activity Center.

The class will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and residents will learn the critical skills needed to use during first aid emergencies.

This free course is offered in partnership between the Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department and the Department of Public Safety, and is designed for all adults over 18. Teens age 13 and older can participate with a parent or guardian.
