This year Alpharetta Rotary is continuing to grow. District Governor Bob Hagan welcomed and inducted five new members this morning, Bennie Shaw, Kile Lewis, Heather Honeycut, Frank Payne and Bob Koncerak.
Hagan spoke to the club about his focus for this Rotary year which is Serving Seniors. Hagan puts “Service Above Self” in his daily walk through life, which is the Rotary Club’s Motto. In his speech he thanked the club members for all of the great things they are doing in the community and the difference those
“I truly love Rotary and I love the fellowship with my family of Rotarians,” Hagan said. “Rotary is in my heart and I am passionate about serving others and following the motto of Rotary, “Service Above Self” each and every day.”
In Hagan’s honor and to help support his focus for the year, Kirk Driskell presented a check in the amount of $2,000 to Senior Services North Fulton to help with their emergency relief fund. Senior Services Executive Director Carrie Carrie Bellware and Jack Hausmann, vice chair of the Senior Services North Fulton Board, accepted the check on behalf of the organization.
