ALPHARETTA, GA — After initially deciding that Food Truck Alley would not return to downtown Alpharetta this year, the city has extended it into the fall.

In the spring, the City of Alpharetta said that the food truck event series would run a summer pop-up series during June, July and August thanks to demand from the community. Due to the success of these events, local food truck event production company, Fab Food Trucks, will keep this event going through October.

“Fab Food Trucks has stepped up in a big way to manage these events in partnership with the City of Alpharetta,” Mayor Jim Gilvin said in a news release. “We are so happy to be able to keep this monthly, Thursday night fun going for the residents and guests of Alpharetta.”

Food Truck Alley will keep its same location on Old Roswell Street in downtown Alpharetta, and will continue to feature at least 10 diverse food trucks and music at this casual, family and budget-friendly event. The event will be managed by Fab Food Trucks, in partnership with the City of Alpharetta in the same way many events in Alpharetta are managed.

“I’m excited to partner with the City of Alpharetta and keep Food Truck Alley alive," Owner of Fab Food Trucks Angie Hillman said. "The city’s support and partnership enables my small business to grow and expand and keep doing what I love to do."
