Alpharetta Seeks Top Businesses For Recognition

The city wants to identify those companies who were recognized or received an honor during the 2014 calendar year.

The city of Alpharetta wants to identify all businesses physically located within the its municipal boundaries that were recognized or received an award during the 2014 calendar year.

The effort is part of the preparation for the Third Annual Alpharetta Business Awards Breakfast, which will be held in March.

“We want to identify every Alpharetta-based business that was recognized in some way for their accomplishments during 2014,” stated Samir Abdullahi, the city’s economic development manager. “Our community is home to more than 4,700 outstanding businesses, and every year a large number of them are recognized for being leaders or making significant accomplishments in their respective fields. The city of Alpharetta is proud of those businesses and wants to add our voice to the accolades while also expressing our appreciation for the investments that they have made in the community.”

In 2013, Mayor David Belle Isle launched the Business Awards Breakfast as a way of saluting Alpharetta’s leading companies.

To receive an invitation to the event, companies are asked to send information on their 2014 award, accolade or distinction as well as a list of attendees (limit 3 per company). This will be a fantastic opportunity for business leaders to join their award winning peers to network and hear about all the great new developments happening in the city.
