Alpharetta Students Make Academic Waves in College

Four students from Alpharetta recently were recognized for notable academic achievements.

Several students from Alpharetta recently achieved postsecondary milestones at their respective institutions. 

  • Sarah Feehan of Alpharetta has enrolled at Eckerd College. She is among 500-plus new students at Eckerd for the fall 2013 term.
  •  Sandeep Kumar Vangala of Alpharetta was among 127 graduate students receiving degrees following the summer 2013 session at Southeast Missouri State University. Vangala graduated with a master of science degree with a major in technolgoy management.
Kaavya Ramesh, an honors college senior majoring in international relations and comparative cultures and politics in the James Madison College and Chinese in the College of Arts and Letters, has been nominated for the Marshall Scholarship.

Adil F. Niaz of Alpharetta received his white coat at the White Coat Ceremony for the Class of 2017 at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) in Harrogate, Tennessee, on Sept. 21.
