Alpharetta Takes Part In National Night Out Celebration

ALPHARETTA, GA -- The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety will be among scores of metro Atlanta law enforcement agencies taking part in the 33rd annual National Night Out event.

Alpharetta's event will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2 at two fire stations: No. 81 at 2970 Webb Bridge Road and No. 85 at 1475 Mid Broadwell Road.

Residents will be able to share a meal of hot dogs and hamburgers with agency police officers and firefighters. For the youngsters, be prepared to enjoy bounce houses and free giveaways.

Sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our communities safer, better places to live.
