Alpharetta, GA -- The Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau recently won three MarCom Awards.

The bureau received a Gold Award for its Facebook page engagement, and Honorable Mentions for its 2015 Visitors Guide and for the redesign of its website, www.awesomealpharetta.com.
“We are thrilled to be recognized by the MarCom Awards,” said Janet Rodgers, president and CEO of the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Our team works hard year round to produce awesome content for our Visitors Guide, on our website and on our social media channels in order to bring visitors into Alpharetta to shop in our shops, dine in our restaurants and sleep in our 23 hotels. It is wonderful to be recognized for our work quality.”

MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers.
MarCom’s Platinum Award is presented to those entries judged to be among the most outstanding entries in the competition. Platinum Winners are recognized for their excellence in terms of quality, creativity and resourcefulness. The Gold Award is presented to those entries judged to exceed the high standards of the industry norm. Honorable Mention certificates are granted to those entries that meet the expectations of the judges.
