The Y is especially committed to fostering a sense of social responsibility in youth and teens, and for this project, volunteers ages 5 and up are welcome. Children will build bird houses and participate in age-appropriate activities. Volunteers under age 16 should be accompanied by an adult.

When someone volunteers at the Y, he or she takes an active role in bringing about meaningful, enduring change in our community. Individuals, groups, and companies are encouraged to volunteer for the Days of Service and Y membership is not required to volunteer.
