Armed Bank Robber Strikes In North Fulton
Two robberies were reported in Sandy Springs while another took place in Alpharetta.
ALPHARETTA, GA -- The FBI Atlanta Field Office is asking the public to help them identify the man responsible for five metro Atlanta armed bank robberies dating back to as early as September.
The first robbery was reported around 12:39 p.m. Sept. 6 at Regions Bank at 2419 Cheshire Bridge Road NE in Atlanta. The subject presented a demand note, a small black and was seen leaving in a black Toyota Corolla.
A few weeks later around 2:23 p.m. Sept. 22, the male subject struck again at Regions Bank at 6637 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs. The suspect made a verbal demand and left the scene. On Oct. 16, the male walked into Regions Bank at 6503 North Point Parkway in Alpharetta and presented a demand note announcing the robbery.

A few weeks later around 11:45 a.m. Dec. 5, the suspect targeted Bank of America at 8755 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs. In this incident, the FBI said the suspect brandished a weapon after the teller "did not comply with his demands." Another robbery was reported around 1:28 p.m. Dec. 7 at Regions Bank at 2486 Roswell Road NE in Marietta.
The suspect is described as a black male in his mid to late 30's, and has a medium build and some facial hair. He was wearing a large black wrist watch, similar-style shirts that have the "Punisher" logo, a hat with the phrase 'Beware I Bite' embroidered on the front and, at times, was carrying a small zippered bag.
