Beach Bash Returns To Bell Memorial Park
The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 16 in Milton.

From The City of Milton: The City of Milton welcomes summer 2018 with the return of Beach Bash at Bell Memorial Park on Saturday, June 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This evening of outdoor entertainment, sponsored by Awbrey Orthodontics, Gas South, and Local Life Publishing, will feature A1A, the original and official Jimmy Buffett tribute show, starting at 8:00 p.m.
"After last year's success, even with the rain, we've made this our signature summer event," said Milton's Community Engagement Manager Courtney Spriggs. "A1A is back, we've added more food trucks, and local Milton musicians will be opening for A1A this year."
The band will play from the infield on baseball field No. 6 while residents gather with their blankets and chairs in the grassy outfield. Prior to A1A going on stage, the winners and select finalists from Milton's Got Talentcompetition held in April will serve as opening acts.
Popular food trucks--Patty Wagon, The Royal Pig BBQ, and Let's Taco Bout It--are participating. In addition, King of Pops and the Alcohol Heroes beverage truck are back for 2018. This family friendly event will also include a field full of fun children's activities and games, including bounce houses, for the kids.
Outside food and beverages are prohibited; however, attendees are permitted to bring coolers with water only. The event is free to the public. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. the day of the event. Parking is available in the Bell Memorial Park parking lot only. Roadside parking or parking in nearby neighborhoods is prohibited.
"To help maximize parking, we're encouraging nearby residents to consider walking to Bell Memorial, and those who don't live near the park to carpool with friends or even consider using Uber or Lyft that evening," said Milton Communications Manager Shannon Ferguson.
Residents and vendors with questions about the event can contact Courtney Spriggs at courtney.spriggs@cityofmiltonga.us or 678-242-2533.
