Beer Tasting, Motorcycle Ride Fundraisers Help Fight Cancer

Several businesses will donate proceeds towards the Relay for Life of North Fulton event set for May 14 at Webb Bridge Middle School.

ALPHARETTA-MILTON, GA -- The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of North Fulton has finalized its schedule of events leading up to its annual fundraiser in May at Webb Bridge Middle School.

All proceeds collected at these events will benefit cancer research and patient program organized by the American Cancer Society

  • April 12 - May 10: El Potrillo Give-Back Night every Tuesday, Rivermont Station, 8465 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Alpharetta, 30022; 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; a percentage of sales are donated to Relay for Life of North Fulton to benefit the American Cancer Society.
  • April 12: Zaxby’s Dine Out to Wipe Out Cancer, 5970 State Bridge Road, Johns Creek; 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; a percentage of sales are donated to Relay for Life of North Fulton to benefit the American Cancer Society.
  • April 14: Jekyll Brewery Beer Tasting and Silent Auction, 2855 Marconi Drive, Alpharetta, 30005; 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., cost is $25 per person and includes beer tasting and appetizers; all proceeds benefit Relay for Life of North Fulton/American Cancer Society.
  • April 20: Vineyard Vines Give-Back Night, 5140 Avalon Blvd, Alpharetta, 30009; 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., 10 percent discount on merchandise and 10 percent of sales are donated to Relay for Life of North Fulton to benefit the American Cancer Society.
  • April 23: Citizen’s of Georgia Power’s Benefit Ride Killer Creek Harley-Davidson, 11480 Alpharetta Hwy, Roswell, 30076; Registration at 10 a.m.; pre-ride briefing at 10:40 a.m. and kick stands go up at 11 a.m.' $25 per bike, $15 per passenger; cost includes guided tour through northern counties, live music, lunch and door prize ticket; all proceeds benefit Relay for Life of North Fulton/American Cancer Society.   • April 28: UB4Me Apparel Give-Back Night, 2 Milton Ave., Alpharetta, 30009; 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.; beer, wine and 15-40 percent discounts on merchandise plus 10 percent of sales are donated to Relay for Life of North Fulton to benefit the American Cancer Society
  • May 14: Relay for Life of North Fulton, Webb Bridge Middle School, 4455 Webb Bridge Rd, Alpharetta 30005; 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.; free family event featuring live music, games and activities with some on-site charges for food, beverages and certain activities, proceeds to benefit the American Cancer Society

Relay for Life of North Fulton is open to the public free of charge, and features a carnival-type atmosphere with live music, games and activities for all ages; food and beverages for purchase to benefit the American Cancer Society and the Luminary Lap just after dusk.
