ALPHARETTA, GA — Former Alpharetta Mayor David Belle Isle, a Republican candidate running to become Georgia's next Secretary of State, has announced that his campaign has received new endorsements from elected officials across the state.
The latest round of endorsements includes: Fulton County District 1 Commissioner Liz Hausmann, Fulton County District 2 Commissioner Bob Ellis, Fulton County District 3 Commissioner Lee Morris, Mayor J. Clark Boddie of Palmetto, Marietta Mayor Steven Tumlin, Mayor Keith Brady of Newnan, Doraville Mayor Donna Pittman, Mayor Denis Shortal of Dunwoody, West Point Mayor Steve Tramell, Mayor Angelyne Butler of Forest Park, Cumming Mayor Troy Brumbalow and Mayor Eric Dial of Tyrone.
“I’m supporting David because he has the experience to do the job, Mayor Tramell said. "He did some great things during his tenure as mayor of Alpharetta and I have confidence that he’ll do the same as the next Secretary of State. When you look at the résumés of all the candidates, it’s clear he’s uniquely qualified and he has a proven record of doing what he says he’s going to do.”

Mayor Butler echoed Tramell’s support, adding Belle Isle is a "breath of fresh air."
"I think the voters are tired of the same old establishment politicians, they want authenticity," Butler continued. "I’ve known David for a long time and he’s as genuine as they come. I think that’s part of the reason why voters are responding to David’s campaign.”

Belle Isle said his platform to crack down on voter fraud and champion Georgia jobs continues to resonate with Georgia voters.
“Everywhere we go people agree that we have to secure our elections and that starts with defeating voter fraud by requiring a photo ID for all absentee ballots and implementing The Proof of Citizenship Act to ensure that only U.S. citizens vote in our elections," the candidate said.
