Best Of Winner: Boga Taqueria
The owner of this Milton restaurant wanted his Mexican restaurant to be completely different in a good way, and his customers seem to agree.

Medardo Briceno has been working in the restaurant industry for the past 10 years, and he fell in love with Mexican food.
That love must show to his customers at , as they helped pick his restaurant as the winner in our i, even though his restaurant initially was missing from the list of Latin American restaurants.
Boga Taqueria is open Monday through friday from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. On Saturdays it opens at noon and closes at 10 p.m., while on Sundays hours are noon-9 p.m.

While Briceno, a native of Venezuela, loves Mexican food, he didn't like all of the Mexican restaurants he saw in the area.
"All of these years all the restaurants, all the Mexican restaurants to me look the same," Briceno said.

He said if you took the menus items from all of the restaurants and compared them, they'd be exactly the same.
"So I wanted to do something different, even with how my restaurant looks. I don't want it to look like a typical Mexican restaurant," he said.
He wanted different music and a different atmosphere.
"My food is completely a fusion between Mexican and South American. The plate presentation is incredible. And the value, it's the best thing," Briceno said.
Patrons of Boga Taqueria must agree with Briceno, as they helped pick it as the Best Latin American Restaurant in the Alpharetta-Milton Patch area. Not only did they pick it, but they also made sure it was put on the list when it was missing as the Best Of competition began on Monday by Tweeting, commenting and sending the editor email. They included S. Lee Guy, a local blogger with his Roots in Alpharetta blog, who wrote about Boga Taqueria in his Foodie Friday restaurant review.
Next week, Patch is looking for the "Best Places to Work Out." The voting begins at 9 a.m. on Monday.
