Better Together Business Connection Event Set For Friday

Do you want to know more about Wilbur and Rudy’s Farmtable, a Milton-based market that provides organic coffee and locally grown produce and goods?

If so, then you don’t want to miss Better Together’s next business connection event showcasing the local business.

This event will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at Wilbur & Rudy’s Farmtable, located at 850 Hickory Flat Road.

All residents are invited to attend the free event, said Milton Community Builder Wayne Boston.

“Each of these events creates new connections,” he said. “Whether it’s health, food or fashion, we’re trying to bring something for everyone and introduce the community to local businesses.”

Ryan Bowersox, co-founder and proprietor of Wilbur and Rudy’s, added the event is a chance for residents to see “our unique blend of half gift shop, half everyday market, mingle with your neighbors and friends, taste delicious local foods and enjoy free kids activities.

“We love this community and we’re really thankful to be a part of it,” Bowersox added.

Additionally, the first 20 attendees will receive special discounts and free coffee. There will be giveaways, including naming rights for a new coffee drink to be featured on the menu for a month, gift cards, coffee and other local treats.

Businesses in Milton are encouraged to contact Boston if they would be willing to host an event in order to introduce their particular product or service to our residents.

Better Together will then work with the business to plan an event that will be educational, productive and enjoyable to all.

Better Together is a volunteer organization of Milton residents looking for unique and fun ways to connect with neighbors.
