Bicyclist Hit By Vehicle In Alpharetta

ALPHARETTA, GA -- Police are investigating a vehicle collision involving a bicyclist early Wednesday evening in Alpharetta. officers were dispatched to the accident around 7:30 p.m. Sept. 20 along Academy Street/Webb Bridge Road between Jamestowne Trail and Wedgewood Drive.

They arrived to find a bicyclist who had been struck by a silver or Gold Toyota Sienna, the agency said. Officer Jason Muenzer, spokesperson with the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety, said the bicycle rider was transported to an area hospital and is in serious condition (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts.
