Black Walnut Cafe To Open in Alpharetta
The company's first Georgia location opens July 7 at 5805 Windward Parkway.

ALPHARETTA, GA -- Black Walnut Cafe, a unique dining concept offering an extensive menu of American fare and an inviting ambiance, will open its first Georgia location in Alpharetta next week.
Opening day is set for Thursday, July 7 at 5805 Windward Parkway.
With a menu that offers something for every appetite and occasion, Black Walnut Cafe "blends the easygoing efficiency of counter service with the warmth and upscale flavor of fine dining, offering its guests an elevated dining experience that makes the most of their time, whether they’re craving a quick coffee or a leisurely retreat," the company said.

The restaurant offers more than 100, made-to-order, unique dishes on the menu, each customizable to every guest’s taste. The menu balances familiarity and classic comfort foods with a refreshing, original flair for an experience that guests can delight in for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Since the opening of the first restaurant in The Woodlands, Texas, in 2002, Black Walnut Cafe has been an enduring supporter of the communities it serves. The opening of the restaurant in Alpharetta will benefit The Drake House, which provides short-term crisis housing, education and empowerment programs for homeless single mothers and their children in the north Fulton County.

“Black Walnut Cafe is truly a unique dining experience with fresh and classic American fare that includes something for everyone,” said Joe Brassard, president, Black Walnut Cafe. “At Black Walnut Cafe, it’s always ‘Your Place at Your Pace,’ and we want to welcome everyone in and around Alpharetta to come and enjoy everything we have to offer. We are also honored that our opening will help support The Drake House and all the positive work they do to help local families in crisis.”
Some of the items on the menu include several styles of eggs Benedict, Migas, Chipotle Chicken Pepper Pasta, Asian Tuna Salad, Tatonka Burger, Lobster Tacos, 12 flavors of house-made Gelato and Turtle Cheesecake.
In addition, the Alpharetta eatery will feature several new regional dishes such as Pimento Cheese Burger, Pimento Cheese Deviled Eggs, Grits & Grillades, Shrimp & Grit Cake and Chicken & Waffle Sandwich.
The 6,307-square-foot restaurant with the 989-square foot patio comfortably seats up to 220 guests.
Black Walnut Cafe is open for breakfast/brunch, lunch and dinner seven days a week and offers curbside to-go and catering.
Operating hours are 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
The breakfast/brunch menu is served until 4 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
