Bra Donation Drive This Month To Benefit Abba House

ALPHARETTA, GA — For the fourth year, Anna Bella Fine Lingerie will host their annual Bra Donation Drive. When customers donate a gently used bra during July, they will receive 10 percent off a new bra of their choice. At the conclusion of the drive, the staff of Anna Bella visit Abba House in Cumming, a women's in crisis center, along with the donated bras and provide a personalized bra fitting for their residents. It’s a way for the community to show love and support for these women as they move forward in their lives, the business said.

According to Heather Blanton, Assistant Manager at Anna Bella, “The ladies are so appreciative knowing others in their community made such wonderful donations just for them. We have no idea what kind of abuse or trauma these ladies have been through. By providing a bra fitting and bras for each of them, their confidence is boosted, and they realize there are people out there who really care about their well-being. They are not forgotten.”

Customers really get into the effort and use this as an opportunity to provide someone else in need with much-needed support.

Donations have also gone to Texas and North Carolina over the last two years to provide aid to those affected by flooding and hurricanes.

In conjunction with the Bra Donation Drive, Anna Bella will be launching another campaign to bring awareness to the importance of bra fitting to young girls in our community. Providing girls with supportive (and pretty) bras is dear to the business' hearts as they realize self-image is a huge factor at that age. Unfortunately, many stores don’t carry bras to properly fit many of our young women.

The campaign “Mother Knows Best” focuses on how mothers provide sound advice as we grow up and that it is perfectly normal to focus on proper fit and quality in undergarments. This campaign which will take place July 22-31.
