Bullet Found Inside Alpharetta High School
Fulton County Schools said the bullet was found inside a classroom and police are investigating the discovery.

ALPHARETTA, GA — The Fulton County School System said a bullet was found Thursday at Alpharetta High School.
The bullet was discovered in a classroom at the school at 3595 Webb Bridge Road, said FCS spokesperson Donna Lowry.
Lowry said Fulton County Schools police searched the belongings of everyone in the classroom and those in the hallway and "found nothing." The investigation remains active.

Meanwhile, Alpharetta police said it also took an Alpharetta High School student into custody after responding to a shoplifting call Thursday at the Apple store within the Avalon development. The juvenile was taken back to the school, processed for the shoplifting charge and released into the custody of his parents, said spokesperson Officer Howard Miller.
The bullet and shoplifting incidents are two separate cases.
