Roswell Dance Theatre presents The Nutcracker!
From November 28 to December 7, join Roswell Dance Theatre for The Nutcracker, an iconic holiday tradition. Thrilled to return to Byers Theatre in Sandy Springs, Roswell Dance Theatre is proud to present its revered rendition of this beloved classic.
As Clara’s dream comes to life, Herr Drosselmeier magically transforms her Nutcracker doll into a Prince. Accompanied by her handsome escort, Clara enters a fantastical new world taking shape about them. Clara and her Prince find themselves entering the Land of Snow…
In a classic interpretation beloved by Atlanta-area families, this cherished production is directed by Nancy Tolbert Yilmaz, Mary Lynn Taylor and Kassandra Taylor Newberry. Gorgeous costumes, magical scenery, treasured music and exquisite dancing will delight all audience members in this holiday treat! The talented cast includes world-class artists alongside aspiring young professionals from Roswell Dance Theatre and budding performers from the Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance.
At the conclusion of the festivities, Clara and her Prince are bid a happy farewell as the dancers from around the world wave a sweet goodbye. Her dream fades away but her Nutcracker doll and magical memories stay with her throughout the holiday season. Join us for a performance and make your Nutcracker memories!
The 10-show run opens Friday, November 28, 2025, and will continue through Sunday, December 7, 2025. Special performance opportunities feature four Character Meet & Greets with autographs and photos, Girl Scout troop options and group sales. To commemorate the shows, there is an extensive Nutcracker-themed gift boutique where audience members of all ages will find the perfect souvenir.
