This cherished North Atlanta tradition continues to enchant audiences of all ages with its breathtaking dancing, sets, and holiday spirit. Step back in time to a glittering Christmas Eve at the Stahlbaum home, where young Clara receives a beautiful Nutcracker from her mysterious Godfather, Drosselmeyer. As the clock strikes midnight, Clara’s world is transformed. Toy soldiers spring to life, the mischievous Rat Queen leads her army into battle, and Clara embarks on an enchanting journey with her Nutcracker Prince through a sparkling Snow Forest to the dazzling Land of Sweets. There, the Sugar Plum Fairy and her friends amaze with a spectacular celebration of dance and delight. Is it magic or all just a dream? This year’s production features vibrant costumes, exquisite stage designs, and a talented cast of Atlanta Dance Theatre performers alongside professional guest artists Robert Chabot, Lonnie Davis, Jarrod Miles, Jonah Hooper, Eric Nash, and FOX 5’s Joanne Feldman and Paul Milliken.
