Canton Family Gets Influx Of Support, 2-Year-Old Still Fighting
Blake, 2, is hospitalized and fighting. A GoFundMe page set up to assist with costs has raised thousands for the family in days.

CANTON, GA — The Jones family has received nearly $4,500 in donations since Friday, Feb. 2, after a plea for support from the community as their 2-year-old fights double pneumonia. Blake got the flu, which led to the dangerous infection.
At 11 a.m. Friday, the GoFundMe page had raised $420. At this article's publication, that number has skyrocketed to $4,864, nearly doubling their initial goal of $2,500.
Tabatha Jones, Blake's mother, is hugely thankful. "The support the community has shown and love and prayers is amazing," she told Patch.

"The Jones family continues to work and care for their two older boys while their son is in the hospital, nearly an hour away. We are hoping to raise money to help with ongoing medical expenses, along with food and gas expenses for travel," the GoFundMe page says.
Tabatha, alongside her husband Frank, a retired Marine and current deputy, is also raising 9-year-old Frank and 5-year-old Connor.

Blake's fight is far from over. Tabatha told Patch that he has started to require more support and oxygen, but the community's support is playing an immensely positive role in the Jones family.
"It means so much to have an amazing community behind us," Tabatha said. "My husband and I cannot thank everyone enough."
