Car Crashes Into Gas Pump At Alpharetta QuikTrip
The accident occurred Friday afternoon at the convenience store on Old Milton Parkway.
ALPHARETTA, GA -- Crews in Alpharetta are on the scene of a "serious" accident at a convenience store.
Police and fire are working a crash at QuikTrip at 3190 Old Milton Parkway.
Photos posted to the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety's Facebook page show a gas pump was destroyed when at least one SUV crashed into the structure.

Alpharetta DPS spokesperson George Gordon said the driver of a blue Ford Expedition pulled into a parking space and put the car into reverse instead of park.
"She then pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake," he added. "Her car went backwards and struck two other vehicles."

The agency didn't note if there were any injuries as a result of the crash, only that it was "serious." Gordon added it could cost QT about $25,000 to replace the gas pump.
