Car Runs Off Road, Lands Between Retaining Wall, Apartment Building
The driver was uninjured in the crash, which occurred Friday just after 11 a.m. along Sweetberry Court in Alpharetta.
One person was transported to an area hospital as a precaution after a single-vehicle accident that left the car wedged between a retaining wall and an apartment building.
Members of the Alpharetta Police and Fire departments responded to the accident around 11:10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16.
According to the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety’s Facebook page, a “low speed vehicle” ran off the road along Sweetberry Court, hopped over curb and retaining wall and came to a rest on its left side between the wall and an apartment building.

A gas line was damaged in the accident, and officers were able to stop the leak. Crews with Atlanta Gas Light responded to the scene to repair the damage.
While the driver was not injured, he was transported to North Fulton Hospital for a “follow-up treatment,” the agency noted.
