Carrington Academy Preschools Donate to Local Children in Need

Students at Carrington Academy McFarland in Alpharetta and Carrington Academy on Majors Road in Cumming recently collected more than 250 gifts for KARE for Kids, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides holiday gifts to underprivileged children. The donations were the result of “star tree” programs at the schools, during which students worked together to collect a variety of wish list items, including clothes, shoes, toys and games to benefit local children during the holidays. At the end of the collections, students prepared the donations for pick-up by a representative from the organization. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.
