Carrington Academy Students Deliver Gifts to Local Children

Students donated 40 gifts to KARE for Kids, Inc. to fulfill the wishes of five local children

On Dec. 12, students from Carrington Academy on Webb Bridge Road in Alpharetta delivered 40 gifts to KARE for Kids, Inc., a local nonprofit that benefits children in need. The donations were the result of the school’s star tree program, during which students worked together to collect a variety of wish list items, including clothes, shoes, toys and games to benefit local children during the holidays. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others.

KARE for Kids, Inc. takes care of children by addressing their needs. The organization uses the funds it raises to provide necessities to the children of Dawson County, including winter coats, shoes, clothing, medicine, eye glasses, educational resources, summer school fees, toys and more.
