Carrington Academy Students Deliver Gifts to Local Children

Students from Carrington Academy McFarland and Carrington Academy Big Creek in Alpharetta recently delivered a donation of more than 50 items to Angels Over Forsyth. Over the past month, students, parents and teachers worked to collect a variety of gifts, including blankets, diapers, clothes, shoes, art supplies and toys, to fulfill the needs and wishes of foster care children in Forsyth County. During the delivery, students met with a representative from Angels Over Forsyth and learned how their contributions will help children in need. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season.

Angels Over Forsyth is a community-driven volunteer program that ensures children placed with non-parental caregivers have the best holidays possible. This is achieved through sponsors who shop for these children from a list filled out by the child and the care provider.
