Carrington Academy Campers Donate School Supplies to United Way

Summer campers from three schools partnered to collect more than 650 donations in support of the organization's "Stuff the Bus" program

Summer campers at three Carrington Academy preschools in Alpharetta, Braselton and Cumming recently worked together to donate more than 650 school supply items to United Way of Forsyth County’s “Stuff the Bus” program, which provides back-to-school items to local students in need. Throughout July, students at the three schools held donation drives to collect a variety of items, including backpacks, glue, pencils, crayons, markers and notebooks. After the collection, students organized the donations to prepare them for delivery to the organization. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and helping other children.

United Way of Forsyth County’s mission is to bring the community and its resources together to solve problems that no one organization can address alone.
