Kitten Rescued After Hitching Ride From Woodstock To Alpharetta
Alpharetta Fire Department Engine 81 helped rescue a kitten, dubbed "Lucky," that got stuck inside a car chassis in Woodstock.
ALPHARETTA, GA — A cat, aptly named "Lucky" was lucky indeed when he was rescued from a car that traveled from Woodstock to Alpharetta.
Alpharetta Fire Engine 81 responded to a kitten stuck in a vehicle chassis earlier this week, the department posted on Facebook.
Some good Samaritans were attempting to free the kitten upon Engine 81’s arrival. The driver said that he was in Woodstock when the cat ran across the road. Evidently,“Lucky” did not make it across the road and stowed away to 500 North Point Parkway.

After being rescued, hydrated and given a snack "Lucky" traveled to a new home in a box, not an engine compartment, to a mother cat that had a litter of kittens about the same age to live out his remaining eight lives, the department said.
