Centennial High School Counseling Department Wins Award

Centennial's School Counseling Program, of Roswell, was presented with the Recognized ASCA Model Program award for the third time.

In July 2016, the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) once again recognized Centennial High School’s school counseling program at their national conference in New Orleans. Centennial’s School Counseling Program was presented with the Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) award and was noted as being one of a very few schools in the country to have earned this distinction three times (2010, 2013, 2016).

The RAMP designation is an honor bestowed upon school counseling programs who demonstrate an exemplary commitment to making a positive impact on student success through the services of a data-driven comprehensive counseling program. Centennial was the first school in Fulton County and just the fourth high school in the state of Georgia to earn this award. This recognition is authorized by ASCA and is valid through 2021.
