Class Teaches Residents the 'Nuts and Bolts' of Vegetable Gardening
The city of Alpharetta will host this free class on March 25 at Alpharetta City Hall.

First time vegetable gardeners and those looking to grow their gardening skills can take advantage of a program being offered free to Alpharetta residents.
“The Nuts and Bolts of Vegetable Gardening” will be presented from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 25 at Alpharetta City Hall, which is located at 2 Park Plaza in downtown Alpharetta.

Seating is limited, and pre-registration is encouraged.
Master gardeners will explain tips and tricks to make the most out of your backyard vegetable garden. The program will cover soil preparation, garden planning, seasonal planting, mulching, weed control, pest control and fertilizing.
