Coalition Food and Beverage To Open In Downtown Alpharetta

The restaurant is slated to open in summer 2017 in the Teasley Place Development.

ALPHARETTA, GA -- The company behind two popular restaurants in Roswell is planning to open a chef-driven restaurant in downtown Alpharetta.

Coalition Food and Beverage will open in the Teasley Place development in downtown Alpharetta by the summer of 2017, R.O Hospitality said Monday.

The concept is the third launched by the team that opened Roswell's Table & Main in 2011 and Osteria Mattone in 2013.

“R.O. Hospitality, which stands for Reckless Optimism, will unify our mission as we dive in to our third restaurant opening," said Ryan Pernice, R.O Hospitality founder and owner. "I am proud of the reputation Table & Main and Osteria Mattone have built for our new hospitality group, and, with Coalition Food and Beverage, we will continue growing and improving our established values and standards of hospitality. Coalition Food and Beverage will be an extension of the culture and community-focus that R.O. Hospitality believes in."

Coalition Food and Beverage joins Alpharetta’s celebrated restaurant scene in Teasley Place, a mid-rise building including restaurants, shops and luxury residences by River Rock Development located at the corner of Milton Avenue and Canton Street.

The 3,331-square-foot restaurant will house 150 seats including a bar, outdoor dining and private dining. The atmosphere will use an urban aesthetic to evoke the action and pulse of a growing community – not only in “look-and-feel” but also as a vibrant hub of community engagement. That sense of possibility and energy will infuse all aspects of the Coalition experience including the street-style art and a casually cool, throwback playlist.

After leading the kitchen at Table & Main, Chef Woolery “Woody” Back, a co-owner, will be the driving force in the kitchen at Coalition Food and Beverage, offering a contemporary menu with progressive and signature interpretations of American wood-fired classics.

The foodscape will emphasize premium meats, entrée-sized salads and burgers worthy of a second napkin. In addition to a selection of craft beers and cocktails, Beverage Director and Co-Owner Daniel Pernice (also a veteran owner of Osteria Mattone) will make quality wine accessible by presenting the kind of curated wine list that’s typically reserved for special-occasion restaurants while also exploring one of Daniel’s guiding principles: that great wine doesn’t have to be expensive.
