Council Member Selected As Mayor Pro Tem
As Mayor Belle Isle stepped down to run for Georgia Secretary of State, a City Council Member was unanimously selected as Mayor Pro Tem.

ALPHARETTA, GA — Alpharetta City Council Member Donald Mitchell was unanimously selected to be Mayor Pro Tem of Alpharetta by his colleagues on the Council. Former Mayor Belle Isle has moved on to run for Georgia Secretary of State.
Mitchell has experience as a business owner, running Donal Mitchell Deisgn, Inc. for 22 years. He's been a project designer and an international buyer.
The Mayor Pro Tem carries out the duties of the mayor on a temporary basis.

As for the committees he's served on, included are the Historic Business District Revitalization Committee, the Alpharetta Farmers Market Committee, the Fall Festival Committee and was an Art Fest juror.
