Alpharetta (May 10, 2017) – Lights...Camera…Graduation! Help us roll out the red carpet for Creative Studios of Atlanta’s 2017 Graduating Class on Sunday, May 21st at 1:30 p.m. in the Aurora Cineplex, located at 5100 Commerce Parkway! The 40 graduates of CSA Film Academy will arrive in a stylish limousine and walk the red carpet as their adoring fans scream, before the screening of their short films premier. Don’t forget to ask for photos and autographs; these are stars in the making!
This year’s screening, “Best Friends,” is a collection 19 short films –suitable for all ages— that portrays adolescent friendships. Audiences will see the films through the student’s eyes, as several of the films were written by the young actors. Seen as their final exam, the screening showcases the talent and skill set the actors spent 10 months honing as they each star in short films produced by CSA and shot by professional crews. In this way, CSA Film Academy ensures their experiential classroom will cultivate the talents and passion each of these young actors and film makers possess.

CSA is owned and operated by Atlanta native and North Fulton resident, Ken Feinberg. CSA specializes in training for professional actors (from kids to adults), with a focus on film, television, and commercial work.
Feinberg is a multi-award winning film director who recently won the Director’s Gold Award at the International Family Film Festival in Los Angles for his film, “Santa’s Boot Camp.” This feature film starred over 70 young actors from the CSA Film Academy. The film also stars local Shakespearian actor, Doug Kaye, as “Santa Claus,” and Eric Roberts, the Oscar-nominated brother of Julia Roberts, also from Atlanta. Feinberg is a contributing industry expert writer to backstage.com, one of the leading national publications for actors.
Additionally, Feinberg was honored with the 2013 Outstanding Achievement Award for his contribution to the film industry in Georgia by the Georgia Film Awards. Before opening his acting studio, he was a working actor in Hollywood acting on such series as “Star Trek Enterprise,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Charmed’” among others. Feinberg started the CSA Film Academy because he wanted to teach actors who really wanted to learn what it takes to work. He knows if an actor will commit to 10 months of training, then that actor is committed to themselves and their dream. He was adamant about producing original films as part of the training.
CSA is currently accepting applications to their summer program in Italy as well as for the 2017-2018 (August to May) Film Academy program. This professional level program has trained and prepared many students for a career in the entertainment industry. Former and current students have booked films, television series, pilots, commercials, print and voice over, as well as Broadway productions.
CSA's next project is a work-study-vacation which will take place in Cortona, Italy in June 201. Actors and writers experience the magic and splendor of Italy, then come home with a professionally produced original film. Writers and actors of all ages and experience are welcome.
