Digital Appointment System Launched By Milton Police

All fingerprint, including for alcohol pouring permits, and background check appointments will go through a new digital system.

MILTON, GA — Beginning Tuesday, the Milton Police Department will schedule all fingerprint, including for alcohol pouring permits, and background check appointments through a new digital system.

This new system will streamline the appointment process, with only open time slots showing availability, and applicants filling in all of their own information. Previously, applicants called Milton Police during weekday office hours to find an open appointment and then give their information over the phone. Now they can do this all faster, easier and at any time of day.

“This new system should cut down on our time spent scheduling and setting up appointments,” said Captain Charles Barstow, who oversees Milton Police’s Support Services Division. “And, applicants can now schedule an appointment 24/7; they aren’t limited our administrative hours.”
