Dr. Jenny Kim Joins Imagix Dental's Alpharetta Office

Sehee Jenny Kim, M.M., D.M.D was born and raised in Seoul, Korea and her family moved to Nashville, TN in the early 90’s seeking higher education. She was trained as a pianist and musician during her earlier life, and her music career continued in the United States. Dr. Kim continued her training at the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University during her high school and college years. She received a master’s degree in Music from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a major in Piano performance and Pedagogy in 2004, and she further pursued a doctorate degree in Music in Indiana.

During her doctorate study, she was inspired by her brother who is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. She learned that oral health is a window to overall health and how dentists can make differences in public health. Dr. Kim always wanted to serve the community in better ways, and she decided to become a health care provider by switching her career to dentistry.

She obtained additional degree in biochemistry at Georgia State University, and graduated from the Georgia Regents University (previously Medical College of Georgia) with Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. Since 2014, Dr. Kim joined Imagix Dental Group as a general dentist.

Dr. Kim is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

She is also a mother of a child, Aaron, with very supportive husband Peter who is an IT engineer. She loves to spend her time with family and friends and see Musicals, Concerts, and Operas during her spare time.

She now works with patients in the Imagix Dental locations of Alpharetta, Roswell and Johns Creek
