Polkadot Pediatric Dentistry Strives for Extraordinary Patient Care

If you haven’t been to our practice, you may wonder what makes us stand out from the pack. We take care to make every child feel comfortable and welcome in our office. We keep our practice low volume on purpose. In a high volume practice, your child may feel overwhelmed, rushed, and unheard. Our lower patient flow allows us to spend quality time with every patient. Your child will never feel rushed or unheard in our practice. The extra face time, the comfortable office space, and the friendly staff all help put our patients at ease. We also encourage parents to come into the exam room with their children if they want parental support.

Dr. Nanna, our fearless leader at Polkadot Pediatric Dentistry, has an extensive background in dental health. Her passion for pediatric dentistry was sparked through a job shadow, and from then on she awoke to her calling. She loves helping children, and her job allows her to do this every day.

Dr. Nanna received her B.S. from University of Maryland in neurobiology and physiology. Afterwards she worked as a civilian at the Naval Hospital Research Facility, working on how to prevent lethal combat injuries. A year later she went on to the renowned University of Pennsylvania to pursue her doctorate of dental medicine. She worked with the Special Olympics of Philadelphia as well as the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic. Dr. Nanna then continued her studies at the University of Illinois in Chicago where she became a board certified pediatric dentist and received a masters in oral sciences.

She keeps her professional standing through multiple associations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, America Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

Pediatric Dentistry for Children of All Ages

Dental care is important at any age. We believe that providing a strong foundation of oral health early on will empower children to care for their teeth through their teenage years and into adulthood.

According to the American Dental Association, you should schedule your child’s first dental visit before he’s a year old. Visiting the dentist early and often will set a lifelong course for dental health, and it will also allow us to catch any issues before they’re too far gone.

We provide care to children from infancy to their teenage years, and we’re equipped to help them with any oral issue that may arise. We love helping babies, kids, and teens achieve healthy, beautiful smiles.

If you’re in Alpharetta, Georgia, schedule a visit with our award-winning dentist. We accept most insurance plans, and we offer payment options for patients without dental insurance. Come see why Dr. Nanna has been named America’s Top Pediatric Dentist two times over!
