ALPHARETTA-MILTON, GA -- If you live in either Alpharetta or Milton and are looking for egg hunting events for the youngsters, then both cities are providing you with two good opportunities.
The city of Alpharetta's Children’s Easter Eggstravaganza will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 8 at softball fields 1 through 4 at North Park, which is at 13450 Cogburn Road.
Attendees will enjoy face painting, balloon art, a petting zoo and rides on a trackless train. Of course, don't forget to bring your cameras to take photos with the Easter Bunny. An egg hunt for children ages 3 to 6 will begin at 11 a.m. Instead of a hunt area, a special goody bag will be given to the first 250 children ages 2 and younger and 7 and older.

Milton is joining forces with Crabapple First Baptist Church, Milton Chiropractic, Fork in the Road Catering and other local businesses to host the event. This family friendly event will include egg hunts for children of all ages beginning at 10 a.m.
The hunts are organized by age, starting with children one to three years old. In addition to the egg hunt and a visit by the Easter Bunny, there will also be games, face painting, crafts, and music.
Food trucks will be at the park with treats for sale, and the Milton police and fire departments will be on hand to display their vehicles and equipment.
"This is one of our favorite annual events to host, (and) the community loves it," said Milton's Community Outreach Manager Courtney Spriggs. "Last year, more than 300 children participated, hunting 3,000 hidden eggs."
