El Felix At Avalon Rebranding To Superica This Fall

ALPHARETTA, GA — This fall, shoppers and diners at Avalon in Alpharetta may notice a change in one of the restaurants when The El Felix becomes Superica.

A representative for the company Grey Fox PR, which handles publicity for Rocket Farm Restaurants which owns both restaurants, said the change is coming.

"The El Felix, at the Battery Atlanta and Avalon, will make the transition over to become Superica this fall," the representative said. "As part of the same Rocket Farm Restaurants family and with similar menus and Tex-Mex-rooted identities, we’ve decided to streamline the brands that are already parallel at their cores."

They said the company "guarantees a smooth shift in the name only."

"(We will) maintain the same ownership, friendly faces, menu and hours of operation in addition to our extraordinary service in an individualistic environment, beloved Tex-Mex playbook classics and refreshing margaritas," the representative said.

There isn't an exact timeline yet, the company said as they are waiting on that information from the signage company in order to make a formal announcement.

Superica is described on its website as, "'Superica,' located now in the fully restored factory, features a colorful dining room where delicious Mexican and American foods are served. You may know this as ‘Tex-Mex’ cuisine. Here, authentic products of craftsmanship are displayed along with curios that may be obtained. The atmosphere of the Old West has been preserved for the enjoyment of all guests."

Superica has locations at Krog Street; Buckhead; Charlotte, North Carolina; Houston, Texas; and Nashville, Tennessee.
