Creek View Elementary School will be celebrating Falcons Spirit Day, Friday, September 9, 2011.
The purpose of celebrating Falcons Spirit is to leverage the excitement of NFL football to promote health and wellness. The theme for the day is Fuel Up to Play 60. The message of Fuel Up (eat healthy) to Play 60 (be physically active for 60 minutes) captures the key message we want to promote for the day!
Children will dress in their best Falcons gear, including face paint to get in the spirit. Students are being encouraged to bring a fruit or veggie snack for Whole Food Half Time and the value of eating healthy foods will be highlighted at lunch time. Along with football drills at recess students will enjoy an extended recess time on Friday.
