Four may be the new lucky number for Goodwill of North Georgia. A 44th store will open its doors to shoppers on Thursday, April 4 at 9 a.m.
Located at 8560 Holcomb Bridge Road, the store includes about 12,500 square feet of sales floor space full of clothing, furniture, books and other household items. It also features a drive-up donation center.
“Each new store brings the opportunity for us to serve a new community of shoppers and donors,” says Goodwill’s Director of Public Relations Elaine Armstrong. “Each time you make a donation or a purchase, you help us connect more North Georgians to work.”

Goodwill collects donated goods at more than 100 locations across the region and sells them in its stores. Proceeds help support the job training programs and employment services Goodwill provides to more than 36,000 North Georgians each year. The new store also enables the nonprofit to create nearly 40 new jobs.
Those who visit the store during the first four days of business (April 4–7) will also have the opportunity to enter hourly drawings for Goodwill gift certificates.
