
The Alpharetta Historical Society’s April 19 program will be led by Linda Mansell Martin, a Roswell/Alpharetta native. Linda’s father, Joe C. Mansell, was the principal owner and founder of Sun Valley, a popular recreational park during the late 50’s and 60’s which was located between Roswell and Alpharetta off Alpharetta Highway.

Linda is married to Alan Martin and they have three sons and 10 grandchildren. She is a 1991 graduate of Trinity University with a BA in Communications and is the author of three books. She is presently working on the book The Mansells of North Georgia.
